A very big baby was born yesterday in Germany. The biggest so far ever born here. It is all over the news since yesterday.

It made me wonder. Not only about how the mother managed to give a natural birth to a baby that huge. If the mother is a woman on the right in the picture, then she is Asian, and they are even smaller.

It made me wonder if people give births to babies these days at all in Germany?

It is no joke. I am serious. I have statistics, that 50% of people live alove in this country. This matches with my own observations.

It is especially sad when I see very old people living alone. They own huge pieces of land, huge houses and an olf Porche 911, of course, besides other old cars in their garages. But they sleep alone in their three story houses.

Yes, the economic power, i.e. big pensions allow them to hire personnel to take care of their house, garden and themselves.

But they did not have kids. And a significant power saving Germany from disappearing is Turkish diaspora which is the biggest minority.

If you see in the city a mother with three kids or more, it will be a Turkish family.

I know one German kid. He was the only child for his mom and dad. When they divorced and found new husbands and wives, he still stays the only child in both couples. One child to four adults!

It is also sad for me to see that women in Germany when consider career and family, they raise a question, this OR the other? And many who want to be modern, choose career rather than family. Even when married they decide to not have kids.

What a devastating conscious decision it has to be! I must add here that the way society is organised, it adds to this trend. It is much less friendly for mothers to try both. Signifinatly less friendly as my home country. But this deserves a separate post.

Adding all that together and also the fact that women look less like women here, I catch myself wondering. Does the universal power that attract a man to a woman and a woman to man does not work here?
